Flower Power Wedding Shower
One of my good friends in Norwalk, CT wanted to surprise her sister with a wedding shower cake. The wedding is a Hawaiian theme so I made a bright floral cake with a small heart congratulating the happy couple...

Happy Retirement Linda and Liz!
My husbands mother is retiring after 40+ years in nursing. She spent the last portion of that as a school nurse in Schenectady, NY. Last weekend we went to a party for her and another wonderful teacher, Liz, who was retiring as well. The party was at Mallozzi's which was a beautiful venue.
I pulled together this cake trying to represent nursing and Liz's focus, reading.

Con - GRAD - ulations!
One of my good friend's from work had a daughter who just graduated from High School. Unfortunately we couldn't join them for the festivities but I did make the GRAD-themed cake below for them to enjoy.

Golf cake...that's a terrible lie
One of my husbands best friends had a surprise party for his 30th birthday at Golf Quest here in Southington, CT. Excellent venue if you are looking to throw a party for the golfer in your life.
I was very happy to have the opportunity to make this golf cake for the party...I would hate to look down at my ball and see that lie!
